Experimental Hop-forward Ales

The Hop Leaf Project is a limited release series of experimental beers allowing our team of brewers to explore the way different aromatic and flavorful hop combinations work together with different malt bills to bring out a variety of character in hop-forward beers. This project is designed to release a new beer to market every four to six weeks, primarily draft-only with an occasional limited number of cans released from the brewery.

Hazy IPA with juice flavors from Citra, Centennial, Idaho 7, and Zythos hops.

Hazy with the tropical South Pacific flavors of tangerine and coconut from Cashmere and experimental hops.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | slamson

Slamson is a Double IPA with Chinook, Mandarina Bavaria, and El Dorado hops with malt and wheat from our friends over at Riverbend Malt. Dangerously crushable, juicy, with sweetness upfront and finishing soft and clean.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | Taze

A tropical blend of Cashmere, Mosaic, and Citra hops with flavors of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit and subtle coconut. A juicy mouthfeel, finishing soft and clean.

Hazy pale ale hopped with Galaxy and Huell Melon with juicy notes of melon, passion fruit, and pineapple and a creamy mouthfeel.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | passion on ponce ipa

We took our flagship A Night on Ponce IPA and added passionfruit to it creating a truly unique version that is bursting with fruit flavors and subtle hop bitterness.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | rowdier and proudier

A double dry hopped imperial version of our Rowdy and Proud IPA brewed to showcase our love and excitement for Atlanta’s soccer team in the playoffs. Bursting with melon and citrus flavors and dangerously drinkable.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | ghost in you

A hazy pale ale with low bitterness, Ghost In You is dry hopped with large amounts of Citra, Grüngeist, and Hallertau Blanc.

Three Eyes Blind is triple IPA dry hopped with Ariana and Amarillo hops. Fruity and juicy with notes of pineapple and strawberry.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | A Night on octane

A Night on Octane is a beer originally created for Good Beer Hunting's Uppers and Downers event in Atlanta. It's a collaboration beer with Octane Coffee (RIP) using our Night on Ponce IPA as the base and then infusing it with cold brew coffee. A mix of coffee berry flavors compliments the citrus notes of the IPA creating a truly unique and delicious beer.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | concise

Brewed with Idaho 7 and Amarillo hops, Concise is an "Extra" Session IPA. Light, crisp, and refreshing with a big hop aroma of apricot, melon, grapefruit, and orange. The perfect gulper, this beer will challenge your tastebuds as it brings an incredible amount of flavor at only 2.8% abv.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | golden wolf

Brewed with naked golden oats, wheat, and golden promise malt and hopped with Syrian Wolf and a little Mandarina Bavaria and El Dorado, this NE IPA has unique aromas and flavors of tropical pineapple, coconut cream and citrus mixed with a bit of noble hop spicyness.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | packager's paradise

Designed and brewed by the packaging team at 3T, this New England-style session IPA has flavors of lemon zest/peel, candied citrus fruit, and a subtle lemongrass finish. A beer made to sit back and throw back in the warming days of Georgia springtime.

A modern pale ale pervasively hopped with Eureka, Equinox, and Amarillo; low in bitterness with maximum hop aroma and flavor.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | CRAVE

An 8% hazy double dry hopped double IPA brewed with malted barley, wheat, oats and dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic for a lush, tropical hop juice experience.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | dubious

Brewed with Marris Otter malt and hopped with Denali, Lemondrop and Amarillo in ample supply, the aroma carries notes of pineapple, candy, lemon, dank and spring onion while the taste is lightly malty with a balanced bitterness on the back end and a crisp, drying finish. Hard to believe this IPA is a double.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | luxuriant

Full of haze and hops, Luxuriant is brewed with wheat and oats and double dry hopped with Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe. Intensely aromatic and juicy, this luxuriously hopped fruit forward IPA releases citrusy aromas and flavors of tangerine and grapefruit alongside a mix of passionfruit, blueberry and subtle notes of pine and spice. The soft mouthfeel and near absent bitterness insures that one glass will not be enough.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | supernal

Supernal uses raw wheat and oats along with pale and pilsner malts for a brew that enters the glass a yellow straw color with little visibility. Double dry hopped with Mosaic, Hallertau Huell Melon and Hallertau blanc, this luscious IPA unleashes a barrage of aroma and flavor that includes citrus, orange, ripe melon and pineapple. With a lingering signature hop presence and low bitterness, the soft mouthfeel makes this a super drinkable IPA.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | amulet

Amulet is low in bitterness but high in aroma and flavor from a mammoth amount of Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe hops in the late addition of the brew and in the fermenter. This lusty 6% IPA starts off with light grassy notes that fade into a tropical bouquet before ending with a crisp, dry finish. Amulet is super fresh and super drinkable.

HOP LEAF PROJECT | phenom

Phenom is a hazy, unfiltered IPA brewed with unmalted wheat and barley flakes and late addition hops that include Cascade and Citra. Massively dry hopped with Citra, and two experimental hops, Denali and Eureka, the aroma is intense and the flavor is juicy with notes of papaya and mango.

Hop Leaf Project | sapient

Using generous amounts of Palisades, Galaxy and El Dorado hops in the late addition of the boil and in the fermenter for dry hopping, our inaugural HLP release, Sapient, boasts an herbal, grassy punch and mellowed citrus and stone fruit aroma equally matched by its flavor right through the glass. Bitterness is smooth and well balanced against the crisp but full flavored mouthfeel and body of this very drinkable pale ale.
